smart blood sugar 7-day meal plan
I’m going to share Smart blood sugar the 7-day meal plan that I’ve been following for the past few weeks. It’s helped me learn about what my body needs and has made it easier to track what I eat. The best part is that this isn’t a diet – it’s just a way of eating that allows your body time to stabilize after any changes or stressors you may have gone through recently.
Smart blood sugar is the latest food trend that helps you achieve your weight loss goals. You can also substitute any of these meals with one from our other posts on this site if it suits your tastes better!

1) Dr Charles (USA):
“Hello everyone! I am diabetic and was taking medications for many years with no results, and my blood sugar levels were always fluctuating up and down. After reading Stephen Bochco’s article from the Diabetes America website, I ordered the book ” Smart Blood Sugar Solution ” from his site and made some changes in my food regime. I also added more vegetables, fruits, lean protein, Omega 3 oil… In 2 months, I got rid of my meds, no more medication for diabetes and my blood sugar levels are stable! So I want to share this with all of you. Dr Charles”
2) John Cable (UK):
My doctor told me that diet is very important, which was nice to hear, but when I asked what I should eat, I seemed lost. He said he really didn’t know, “just try to eat less”. Excellent! If only it were that easy!
3) Linnea Brink (Sweden):
After a few months, I went for a blood sugar levels test again; the results were shocking! My doctor told me that my medicine had stopped working, and there was nothing more he could do about it. He said, – if you want to try something new, go ahead but don’t expect much because nothing will help.” “Luckily, I found Stephen’s book ” Smart Blood Sugar Solution ” on the internet at that time. It changed everything for me… In 2013, I went for another blood test, and the result shocked everybody – no diabetes! …..Thank you, Stephen!”
4) Sven Martin (Germany):
“I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2008. I decided to try to change my life, change my diet, and join the gym one more time. Although I lost some weight, I could not get rid of diabetes. Then I found Stephen Bchi’s book on the internet; it virtually turned everything upside down. Now I have normal blood sugar levels! No need for tablets anymore.”
5) Lana Omanova (Austria):
“My mother bought this book because she has had diabetes for years, but after reading it, she ordered another four books for her friends. We all are very thankful to Stephen Bachi!”
6) Frank Hayward (USA):
“This is an amazing story – I have diagnosed with pre-diabetes about two years ago; my doctor put me on Metformin, a standard type 2 diabetes medication. I was hoping for some big changes in my life when I started this drug but got very little. I gained more weight and felt awful all the time.

The following is a more in-depth view of the Smart Blood Sugar Plan. The book details what to eat, how much to eat, supplements to take and ways you can avoid potential pitfalls of this way of eating. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but merely some additional points that I wanted to make regarding the Smart Blood Sugar plan to help clients and those interested in the program (or those looking for more information).
1) CARBOHYDRATES TO EAT:
In general, carbohydrates should make up 50-60% of your meal. The most important thing with carbohydrates is choosing low glycemic index sources such as whole grains & legumes (such as oats (rolled, steel cut and oat bran), rye, quinoa, barley, brown rice sprouted beans like mung beans or lentils).
However, suppose you are extremely sensitive to carbohydrates (either allergic or insulin resistant) and feel best when they make up less than 20% of your diet. In that case, you must avoid them completely. I also recommend that clients take a digestive enzyme with carbohydrate meals if their stomach is sensitive (the enzymes will help break down the starches).
Most people need to get enough protein in their diets early on in this program. Most Americans eat way too much protein and rely on meat as the main source of protein which has its risks. It is always good to have some more concentrated protein sources at snacks or along with fruit, but there are situations where more concentrated forms of proteins can be helpful.
Eat mostly monounsaturated and omega-three fats (olive oil, avocados, flax seeds, chia seeds, fish such as salmon and sardines). Also include some saturated fat (coconut butter or coconut milk is a good healthy source of fat).
4) EAT MORE:
Eat when you are hungry and try to schedule your meals to avoid getting too hungry. For some people, eating frequently will work best for them, at least initially (so eating 5 to 6 small snacks a day). Still, once blood sugar levels improve then, they should become much easier.

There are many good foods for mood and energy, but magnesium, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B12, chromium, & zinc. Many people do not get enough of these nutrients in their diet. Magnesium is one that most people would benefit from having more of because it helps with sleep (and many have both insomnia and restless leg syndrome, which can be related to low magnesium).
The best food sources of magnesium include spinach, almonds/ almond butter, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cashews & bananas. Just two bananas provide 430 mg of magnesium, so you don’t need to eat all three at once. You can also take supplements if you can’t get enough magnesium from food.
Very few people need to be concerned with getting too much protein in their diets if they aren’t severely carbohydrate intolerant- no evidence increased protein intake can cause kidney disease or cancer. However, excess protein does change our pH levels, and this has important implications.
